Turku International Puppet Theatre festival presented by Aura of Puppets, is happening November 6-10, 2024. Experience a captivating array of puppet theatre performances at venues including Manilla, Turku City Theater, and Adventure Park Seikkis, with Manilla as our main hub.

This year’s festival explores the theme “Tomorrow” through the art of puppetry, delving into science fiction, utopias, and dystopias. We’re intriqued to see how puppetry responds to our changing world and which experimental forms might become the mainstream of tomorrow.

How to Apply:
To volunteer, please provide your details, preferred tasks, and availability. While we aim to accommodate your preferences, flexibility is appreciated due to the dynamic nature of the festival. Please submit your application by 13 October 2024.

As a thank you, volunteers will receive a festival pass (STAFF pass), allowing you to enjoy performances outside your shift, space permitting. You will also get an Aura of Puppets tote bag and snacks during each shift are covered. For shifts longer than 4 hours, a warm meal is also included.
