Turku International Puppetry Festival celebrates puppetry and it’s 15th edition 6 to 10 Nember 2024. Theme of the year, Tomorrow, takes us to the future of puppetry and our civilization. The programme includes science fiction, utopias as well as dystopias, all in all fictional futures seen trough the lense of puppetry!

Meeting point for artists, presenters and audience
TIP-Fest is the largest contemporary puppetry festival in Finland. Founded in 2009, the festival hosts more than a dozen performances each year, with a focus on creatively innovative contemporary puppetry and a festive, community-building atmosphere.
The programme is curated by an artistic director chosen by Aura of Puppets artists. We do not hold an open call for working groups.
TIP-Fest welcomes artists and presenters globally to meet Finnish puppeteers and discover contemporary puppetry pieces. See past festival programmes here: 2023, 2022.
