TIP-Fest, Turku International Puppetry Festival, is an international puppet theater festival organized by Aura of Puppets. The festival brings to the stages of Turku the most recent performances by Aura of Puppets artists, several of whom are meeting their audience for the first time. TIP-Fest is full of premieres and fresh works from the best of Finnish contemporary puppetry. In this application we ask some basic information, what you would like to do at the festival and your schedule for the festival week. We try to follow your wishes the best way possible, but we really appreciate flexibility from your side as the sudden changes can be possible during the festival! With a Staff pass, volunteers can watch performances outside of volunteer shifts. In addition to this, you get a canvas bag and snacks during shifts. In shifts of more than six hours, we offer warm food. Volunteers are also warmly welcome to the festival after party on Sunday 6.11. We are organizing an INFO event for volunteers at the premises of Aura of Puppets on Wednesday 26.10. at 6:00 p.m., where we will go over the festival, volunteer tasks and any questions that come to mind. And of course we’ll meet each other! Welcome!

TIP-Fest is being held 2.-6.11.2022 in Turku and the venues are in Manilla, Turku City Theatre, Barker theatre, Seikkailupuisto Seikkis and Åbo Svenska Theatre. Festival office is located in Manilla. Address: Itäinen Rantakatu 64b, 20810 Turku
