TIP-Fest Light Edition 4 to 8 November 2020

Turku International Puppetry Festival a.k.a. TIP-fest 2020 is looking for volunteers for it’s 11th festival thus far, welcome aboard! TIP-fest is a performing arts festival celebrating puppetry in all its forms. The festival is organised by the nexus of puppet art professionals, Aura of Puppets and we welcome you to check out our new facilities at Manilla Culture Factory.

As a thanks for working as a volunteer, you’ll receive tickets to shows and be catered for during the festival! Shows, workshops and discussions will be held at Manilla Culture Factory at Tehdasteatteri, as well as at Turku City Theatre, Seikkailupuisto and Forum Marinum. The volunteers are needed from preparative tasks for. ex. organizing the visual outcome, to spreading flyers, managing ticket sales, assisting performers and in the end to deconstruct the festival. We will train you for the task, no previous experience is required.

In the light of the global pandemic, festival repertory will be mainly domestic, but we do also have (as the name implies) international shows and events. A part of the festival is organized online.
